On Saturday Sept 16th, Grade A Tattoos held their ugly tattoos contest.  We have been getting entries for the past several weeks through 98.9 The Bear Radio station, and the website. In all we had thirty one entries.   We had picked that date because all the guys from Egypt Central were our judges. Yes that’s right John Falls, Joey Chicago, Heath Hindman, Jeff James, and Blake Allison were in the studio to judge our contest and pick out the tri-state areas ugliest tattoo.

Egypt Central Rocking Pieres and Grade A

Egypt Central has been together for a short three years, but they pride themselves on their intensely, passionate lyrics about overcoming the obstacles of life and love and the ability to move on with thundering, moody, groove oriented music.

The first place prize will be Grade A fixing that ugly tattoo, second place was $100.00 gift card and third place was a $50.00 gift card.

At 3:00 Egypt Central arrived to judge the contest.  We had a nice turnout for the group. They decided that we surely did have some ugly tattoos entered. Since some the entries were in the lobby, Egypt Central excused themselves to go to the office to make their final decisions.  We printed the pictures out after looking over all thirty one they made their final decisions.

Third place is Eric Baumgartner for this skull. Second place went to Jason Winfield for this tattoo Capt Windshield tattooed on his shoulder.  The story behind this tattoo is eight years he was out on the town, and when he woke up the next morning someone had tattooed this on his shoulder (true story). First place went to this one which we dubbed alien with chains. This belongs to Richard Sills.  Richard will be receiving a cover up and you can check back on the website later to see what we have done to fix Richards tattoo.

After we announced the winners, Egypt Central was touring the studio when they stumbled into Lance's Studio and found the guns. Now these guns look real, but they are really squirt guns that Lance picked up on eBay.  The guys started playing and we went outside with the guns to take the pictures in the gallery.  It looks like a real terrorist attack in The Marketplace of Canterbury.

Several of the people in the lobby had brought presents to the guys, since they had met them earlier this summer at Bear on the Square.
One young lady had brought in a basket of fruit, and some else had a McDonald Play set.

About this time several of the group from Dropping Daylight came in to get some new jewelry.  Trent had to put in jewelry for Allen and Jake.
