On Thursday March 15th Trivium visits Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing, in the Marketplace of Canterbury. Grade A had a contest on 98.9 The Bear Radio Station. There's no such thing as a band born to greatness. To succeed in the world of music there's a whole energy-sapping storm of hard work to plough through. Florida's Trivium has surely earned the major contender status that has been afforded them by the international media. After spending the last few years up to their necks in blood, sweat and tears, the formidable foursome, whose 2005 sophomore release (and Roadrunner debut) Ascendancy made them a hit with discerning music fans everywhere, have paid their dues. Relentless touring around the world with over 350 shows in the past two years has sharpened the band's live prowess, making their new album, The Crusade, one of the most hotly anticipated hard rock albums of 2006. The level of charisma and energy that they've harnessed since hitting the global gig circuit has built Matthew K. Heafy, Corey Beaulieu, Paolo Gregoletto and Travis Smith a huge international fan base that is as devoted as it is ever growing.

Ian McGee was the lucky winner of the contest and to do a live interview from Grade A, with Trivium. The day that Ian found out was his 18th birthday, and the day he got his first tattoo at Grade A. Ian loves to pay the guitar. Music definitely has a huge impact on his life. When he just sitting at home he listens to music, when he is mad he listens to music, and when it just seems like the whole world has crashed and burned in front of his face he listens to music. Its pretty much the same for playing guitar for him too. He loves going to concerts, there is nothing like it. I guess music is his passion. He likes to chill with his friends and just have a good time.

Matt, Corey, Paolo, and Travis, were all here in lobby to do the live interview, with Drew Cage(our Bear Metal buddy) to answer Ian questions about the life of a rock star and touring the country, promoting their music. The Guys singed a lot ot autographs and posed for a lots of pictures. They checked out our Wall of Fame, and all the things different bands, have given us.  Later they joined Lamb of God, Machine Head on stage at Piere's, to a sold out concert. After this tour ends they are headed to UK for a tour.
