You must be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo at Grade A Tattoos, as required by Indiana state law. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all tattoo services and must be presented at the time of your appointment.

Clients aged 16–17 may receive piercings with a parent or legal guardian present who provides valid ID and signs a consent form. The parent or legal guardian must remain present throughout the piercing procedure. Earlobe piercings are available for minors under 16 with parental consent.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide valid identification or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Booking

Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person. Some services may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment time. Deposit requirements and amounts will be communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice or no-shows may result in forfeiture of your deposit and may affect your ability to book future appointments.

Late arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule depending on your artist's availability. We do our best to accommodate everyone, but our artists' schedules are booked tightly.

All clients are required to complete and sign a consent form before receiving any tattoo or piercing service. This form includes acknowledgment of the risks involved, health history questions, and aftercare responsibilities.

You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or health concerns that may affect your service. This includes but is not limited to: blood disorders, diabetes, skin conditions, pregnancy, autoimmune conditions, and any medications that affect blood clotting.

Grade A Tattoos reserves the right to refuse service if we believe proceeding would pose a health or safety risk to the client or our staff.

All prices are quoted in US dollars. Tattoo pricing is based on the size, complexity, placement, and time required for each piece. Your artist will discuss pricing during your consultation.

We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and select mobile payment methods. A gratuity for your artist is appreciated but never required. All sales are final — deposits and service fees are non-refundable.

Custom design fees may apply for original artwork. These fees are separate from the tattooing service and are non-refundable once design work has begun.

Proper aftercare is the client's responsibility. Grade A Tattoos provides detailed aftercare instructions for all tattoo and piercing services. We are not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, pre-existing medical conditions, or allergic reactions to aftercare products not recommended by our staff.

Touch-up policies vary by artist. Many of our artists offer one complimentary touch-up within the first year, provided the client followed proper aftercare procedures. Touch-ups are subject to artist availability.

All custom tattoo designs created by Grade A Tattoos artists remain the intellectual property of the artist and Grade A Tattoos. Designs are created exclusively for the client who commissioned them and should not be reproduced, distributed, or used by third parties without written consent.

Photos of completed work may be used by Grade A Tattoos and the performing artist for portfolio purposes, social media, and marketing materials unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing.

All website content, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Grade A Tattoos and is protected by copyright law.

Grade A Tattoos follows strict health and safety protocols that meet or exceed Indiana state health department requirements. However, tattooing and body piercing involve inherent risks, and by consenting to services, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Grade A Tattoos shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of color representation on digital screens, as tattoo colors may appear differently on skin than in digital previews or reference images.

We maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment at all Grade A Tattoos locations. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask anyone to leave if their behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, threatening, or endangers the safety of our clients or staff.

Alcohol, drugs, and weapons are strictly prohibited on our premises. Clients who appear to be under the influence will be refused service.

Our website is provided for informational purposes and appointment booking. We strive to keep all information accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all website content.

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the proper functioning of the website.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Allen County, Indiana.

Grade A Tattoos reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
